The only thing I'm reading is homework assignments. But progress report grades for the first quarter are due Monday, which means, amazingly, the school year is already 1/8 over.
ahhh! i'm readin as fast as i can!...ok, not really. but working on two books (adhd, anyone?): Collapse by Malcolm Gladwell and Salt: A World History by Mark Kurlansky
this year is looking to be more stressful! i like the "should be on # or so..." tho it sends a thrill of stress through me. (not sure why, as i'm caught up to your accounting. must be the coffee i just chugged...)
oops. correction (def too much coffee in my system...): Collapse is by Jared M. Diamond.
reading nothing right now.
I'm so behind in the Business Week and Newsweek so I am trying to catch up. In the Queue "White Teeth" by Zadie Smith and "Freakonomics" and my women's bible study is doing "Search for Significance". I have a 9 hr flight on Wed - maybe I can get cracking!
I actually own Salt. Got it as a gift from my high school chem teacher, who I still talk to--and who Kayan's met. Never got through it, though. I also have and someday plan to read The Quality of Life Report by Meghan Daum, an LA Times (and other places) columnist I've been impressed with. And I haven't seen Rich in months. Years, maybe.
