Saw this on WSJ.com today

"Cynthia Crossen's self-imposed challenge this week was to save money by reading a book that she owns but has never read."

Do you own books you've never read and, most likely, will never read?

What about the books you've posted here?
Do they tend to be: 1) specifically sought or 2) sitting around / finally got-to's?

I do have a couple that I might never read but can't seem to give up on (Gödel,Escher,Bach--always start it, never finish it, and for awhile Milan Kundera was like that for me too.)

And I do have plenty of books I haven't finished, but I mean to (Obama's second book, one of Temple Grandin's books, a Michael Pollen book, and a book by Borges I just started...).

Most of the books I've read here are specifically sought out (many thanks to recommendations from this site).

And I save money by using the fab public library system! :-)
