ewee (17/26): 24 Hour Comics Day Highlights 2006

More pictures! But 256 pages of 'em, so I'm counting it. It's a product of the relatively insane 24 hour comics day, which is itself a relatively insane idea from Scott McCloud. There've got a pretty good FAQ, if you want more info. I've always aspired to do this, but being who I am (overextended, and easily distracted), I've only ever managed to do 24-minute comics. Mebbe next year (or tomorrow. Who knows?)

A friend of mine was chosen as one of 10 entries in the book, so I had to read it. (Plus she gave me a copy. Hey! If you read this, j, I need you sign it!)

As you can imagine, the content varies greatly--but there's a lot to be said for just sitting down and spending 24 hours cranking something out. And (of course) my friend's piece is brilliant.
