I'm making my way through one book, a few chapters each night. Each chapter is only a few pages, though, so the pace is pretty slow. But, the first few miles of any marathon are traditionally the toughest for me, so I'm hoping I'll hit a stride sooner or later.

Les Mis is my book challenge kryptonite. It is the reading equivalent of peat bog. I am at page 600 (out of 1400) and crawling. I'm driving a car with three flat tires and two dead cylinders. I am a dinosaur and it is my La Brea.
